As a rough guide, 1kg is about 3-4 t-shirts, or a couple of jumpers, or one pair of jeans. Most people are surprised by how much their bags actually weigh - clothes are heavier than you think! A typical full bag usually comes in at around 8-10kg, so you could be looking at £5-£6 per bag. Not bad for stuff that's just been sitting in your wardrobe! 👕

You absolutely can if you want a rough idea beforehand! The easiest way is to use your bathroom scales - weigh yourself first, then pick up your bag and weigh yourself again. The difference is roughly how much your clothes weigh. Luggage scales work great too if you have them. Just bear in mind our scales are the official ones, but it's a handy way to get a ballpark figure before we arrive! 😄

Every item we collect gets a second life - we resell individual pieces where we can, donate what we're unable to resell, and recycle anything too worn or damaged. Nothing ends up in landfill and we're really proud of that!

We collect across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire - including Watford and surrounding areas. Check out our areas we cover page for the full list. If your area isn't listed, just drop us a message anyway - we cover more than you might think and we'll always do our best to help!

We aim to be as flexible as possible! We often collect same day or next day, so if you want things gone quickly just let us know when you get in touch and we'll do our best to make it happen.

We pay £0.60 per kilo, weighed at collection - the more you have, the more you earn! To give you a rough idea, 1kg is about 3-4 t-shirts, a couple of jumpers, or one pair of jeans. We weigh everything in front of you so it's completely transparent.

We pay instantly via PayPal or bank transfer - whichever works best for you. Payment is sent as soon as we've weighed your clothes, and advised you of the amount, so you won't be waiting around.

Clothes need to be clean and in wearable condition - think items you'd still be happy to wear yourself. We can't take anything stained, damaged, or heavily worn. We also don't take underwear, swimwear, socks, or workwear/uniforms. If you're unsure, feel free to send us a message and we can let you know.

We ask for a minimum of roughly one full bin bag of clothes to make the collection worthwhile for both of us. Most people doing a clearout have plenty more than that though - the more you have, the more you earn! Drop us a message if you're not sure.

Just bag everything up and that's it. No need to sort, fold or organise - we keep it as easy as possible for you!
